Human capital and talent is one of the main strategic INL pillars. Recruiting high potential PhD students is an effective way to attract young researchers and generate a collaboration network with the main Spanish and Portuguese public Laboratories.

Through the INL PhD programme, young graduates in scientific fields related to N&N may carry out their thesis in nanotechnology under the supervision of committed supervisors. Supervisors should be university professors or researchers with an appealing research project in any of the four INL research areas. INL PhD students carry out their thesis at their supervisor’s laboratories and get the final PhD title in their universities. INL provide PhD students with a monthly grant and a multidisciplinary education that might help them join, in the future, the INL in a privileged vision of N&N.
